The surface of black vegetable tanned leather develops a quiet lustre over years, deepening in a way that keeps the piece looking intentional rather than worn.
Cut from smooth Italian vegetable tanned leather from a Tuscan tannery certified by the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium, it is slowly tanned using natural plant extracts — giving it depth and suppleness that synthetic processes cannot replicate.
Handmade in Portugal by a small atelier specialising exclusively in leather goods. Edges are hand painted with organic paint. The gold Escuyer logo sits cleanly on the front face. Every piece arrives in a presentation box.
